Compost Day (9/6/08) and Go Green! kick-off meeting (9/7/08)
Want to learn more about compost? Its benefits and science? Then join Master Composter Tim Mateer on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 9 a.m. in gardens (by the playground) as he cooks up a new compost pile for fall gardening. Apparently, it’s an EASY way to reduce landfill waste and to recycle food and dead leaves into something nutritious for our lawns and gardens. You know you want to!!
Parents, feeling the urge to promote environmental awareness and action within the Bryker Woods community? Then join us on Sunday at 4 p.m. in the library! The Go Green! Committee will set and prioritize goals for the year. We want YOU!
