What is the Bryker Woods grocery card program?
Friends of the school purchase HEB, Randall’s, and Wheatsville grocery cards at face value from the PTA. The grocery stores give us a 3-5% discount. There is no cost to participants! Each card you buy brings the school $3-$5. It adds up to thousands each year, and it doesn’t cost you a cent. What’s not to love about that?
Where can I use these grocery cards?
HEB grocery cards can be used at all HEB grocery stores, HEB pharmacies, HEB gas stations, and Central Market. Randall’s grocery cards are good at all Randall’s grocery stores and Randall’s pharmacies. Wheatsville cards work at Wheatsville Food Co-op.
What grocery card denominations are available for purchase through the PTA?
Grocery cards from all 3 stores (HEB, Randalls, and Wheatsville) come in $100 denominations.
How do I purchase grocery cards?
Fill out an order form, attach cash or check, and put your order in the PTA box in the BW front office by the 16th of the month. Then watch for notices from the Distribution Manager when the cards are ready for pick- up, around the first of the month. Orders submitted after the 16th will be fulfilled the following month. Make it easy on yourself and establish a recurring monthly order; these continue until you cancel in writing.
Can I pay with credit card?
Cash and check are preferred payment methods, since the fees for processing credit card payments are almost equivalent to the discount we get on the cards. However, credit card payments may be accepted for bulk orders ($2000). Please contact program administrators for more information.
How, when and where do I receive the grocery cards I purchase?
The Distribution Manager will notify the school community when the cards are ready to be picked up. Distribution will usually occur on Monday and Friday mornings at the beginning of the calendar month. The cards are distributed in front of the office from 7:30 a.m.- 8:00 a.m., or by special arrangement with the program administrators.

Can I buy extra cards on the distribution days?
Yes, a few cards are available for purchase on distribution days, on a first-come-first-served basis. Cash or check will be accepted.
How long do I have to pick up my cards that I ordered?
You may pick up your cards on the days specified by the Distribution Manager. Special arrangements can be made with the Distribution Manager if you are unable to pick up your cards on the specified distribution days.
What if I lose my grocery cards?
Bryker Woods PTA is not responsible for lost cards. However, we may be able to help you cancel and re-issue lost HEB cards. Randalls cards that are lost have no means of cancellation (i.e. you are out of luck.)
